the breakfast was astonishing and outstanding with fresh fruits served, and all the food was brilliant. our location was magnificent and particularly good, close to the train station. there was a pleasant restaurant at a walking distance from the hotel.

Alpenlodge in Zermatt offers superb views of the town. the setting is lovely, with the towering mountains nearby and downtown restaurants just a stone's throw away. - A unique museum is also conveniently located near the hotel.

Very warm and friendly owner. Our room was excellent. We could look out straight at the matterhorn from our bedroom window. The view was just amazing. A little bit of a walk from the station but necessary to burn off the calories from the delicious foods everywhere. The place felt very homely and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you very much.

The rooms are fairly quiet, tasteful, and come with a sitting area, a work desk and a couch bed. The location is favourable - close to a train station.

The bed was extremely comfy. the bathroom and central heating were fairly clean. the room had a multi-channel television and a writing desk. the view of Zermatt town and Matterhorn from the window was spectacular day and night.

The view of the Matterhorn from the Hotel is exquisite, you also have a great view of Zermat from the Hotel.The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The only problem is that it is quite far from the town and it do not serve dinner.It would be nice if they have an agreement with another hotel where their guests could swim on the very hot days.

I had such wonderful experience and will be back. The hotel was impeccably clean with impeccable services. Exceptionally nice staff and awesome breakfast with homemade bread, cake that lived up to my expectations. The location was amazing and stunning and the atmosphere was family. Enjoyed the excellent area.

A nicely situated hotel, about 10 min walk (uphill) from town. Taxi shuttle service from trainstation to hotel and vice versa well organised. Friendly staff, also when travelling with two small children. Beautifull view on the Matterhorn. We can absolutely recommend this hotel to a single traveller as well as a family.
Pillows could have have been better, very soft.
